Our students are served by teachers in after school programs
offered in the community. In addition to the after school program coordination,
we offer academic tracking by educational specialist, volunteer mentors,
and academic tutors. We are a liaison between the school and the community.
Families in the community are able to enroll in our program to begin the
student-athletic objectives at the elementary & middle school level,
instead of waiting until they enter high school.
Strategic Plan
Part of YES inc. vision is to impact the lives of our youth in a positive
manner by using extracurricular activities as both a resource and tool
to teach life skills. YES implements sports as well as other extracurricular
activities to teach life skills and physical fitness. We ask all of our
participants to bear in mind that the attainment of exceptional athletic
or performing skills, as related to winning, is secondary to the molding
of outstanding citizens. The certification of student-athletes
and the transition of the student athlete, from elementary, middle, and
high school, leading to college, are goals that are intended to promote
individual growth.
