About Y.E.S......

Youth Education and Sports, Incorporated’s mission is to impact the lives of our youth in a positive manner by using extracurricular activities as both a resource and tool to teach life-skills. We believe that the certification of student athletes and the transition of the student athlete, from elementary, middle, and high school, leading to college, are specific objectives that will motivate and promote individual growth. Youth Education and Sports success is based on individual achievement through the intervention of Scholastic and Athletic Mentors. Emphasis is placed on the collaboration between the Community and the Stakeholders that are involved in the progression that is taught to foster individual growth. These objectives are instructed and applied to everyday life situations. Participants will be able to form a relationship with mentors, focusing on improvement in scholastics and extracurricular activities as well as the transition from elementary to middle school followed by transitioning from high school on to college. They will be introduced to scholastic assistance programs and extracurricular activities that are available in the community.

For all practical purposes we are serving all students ages 5-16 with the desire to participate in extracurricular activities. Youth Education and Sports performs as a liaison between the school and the community. Families in the community are able to enroll in programs designed to begin the student-athletic eligibility objectives at the elementary & middle school level, instead of waiting until they enter high school. The successful completion of the prescribed program will satisfy the requirements for NATIONAL STUDENT ATHLETE CERTIFICATION, offered through Youth Education and Sports Inc. This program is a collaborative effort between Youth Education and Sports and community programs that are intended to fill the gaps that may hinder a student’s ability to progress up to their potential.

We ask all of our participants to bear in mind that the attainment of exceptional athletic or performing skills, as related to winning, is secondary to the molding of outstanding citizens.
